Location is great, but dont go there expecting too much. We have stayed in many 2 star hotels in europe, but this was amongst the worst of them for the price we paid. Staff refused us extra pillows etc: and the furniture and bathroom was falling apart. Very noisy also. more

The exterior of the building was at one time elegant and quite majestic. This hotel was in a convenient location near several brasseries open until 1am, and round the corner from a small shopping centre with a supermarket inside. The "downs" - rather bare room (no drawers), very feeble shower trickle, noisy unless the double glazed windows were closed making it rather hot. The "ups" - friendy staff, room light and spacious enough, central position right in the old town extremely good value for money (in 2004, 42 Euros for a twin room) more
