As compared to other French cities, Bordeaux had relatively cheaper accomodations, and this hotel/accomodation was a good bargain, in our opinion. Yes, the exterior wasn't pleasant when we arrived (there were construction everywhere nearby and the appartment was hidden from sight). It took us awhile to find it but eventually we realized the interior wasn't THAT bad. We didn't find... more

My friends and I arrived here in Bordeaux and decided to drop our tourist habits and live like locals for a few days. Considering we booked this on Expedia for $80, I was a bit skeptical at first but was amazed by what we got. The place was clean and was two storeys with stairs leading up to a loft... more

We stayed at Appart'Valley Bordeaux for Christmas. Decided on an apartment so we could do our own meals on Christmas day as expected most restaurants to be closed. The place was very compact and equipped with everything we needed. The raised bedroom was huge with a desk and cupboards. Place was lovely and clean with extremely helpful staff. The only... more

This is the second time two summers in a row that I have stayed at this residence and have found it to be very good. I stayed there for at least 10 days each but was visiting a friend who stayed 5 weeks total. I found my experiences to be the exact opposite of what many people said here, perhaps... more

My sister and I were on a tour of France late in the summer. We decided to include a couple nights stay in Bordeaux to sample some great French wines. We booked all of our hotels in advance online and UNFORTUNETALY this was the only one available in Bordeaux at the time of our stay. Before i get into the... more

When we finally found this hotel which was tucked away down a side street somewhere about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Bordeaux City we were slightly perturbed to note that there was a huge amount of construction work going on around. In fact, everywhere we looked there were holes in the pavement and road, buildings being constructed, sites... more

I tried to book a hotel room in Bordeaux at very short notice, and was confronted with this being about the only place anywhere near the centre of Bordeaux that actually had a free room! I read the other reviews and decided it was better than sleeping on a park bench!!! Appart Valley is difficult to find, I followed the... more

I agree with 4 stars - better-than-average apartment hotel. Clean, pleasant staff, good breakfast, air conditioning, safe private parking in an up-and-coming area of Bordeaux with plenty of cafes and bars along the Riverfront. My only problem was finding it. Tip: Find the Museum ship on the river (you can see it on Google Earth, and it is on maps) and... more

I read the first review of this place on this web site, so I decided to give this appartment hotel place a try. I just came back from the trip to France, and this place was a low point of my whole trip. Here is why: Working hours: We arrived at the place at 1:34 PM and they were closed.... more

I was a little apprehensive about this place as a friend who lives in Bordeaux said to me that it was in a pretty lousy area of Bordeaux. However, it turns out that like much of Bordeaux, this area is being renovated and has become quite fashionable. It is close to the river, the quais, which have some good restaurants... more
