Great location - only 5 minute walk to the beach. Friendly staff - pointed out all the nearest attractions and facilities. Reasonably priced - only 124 euros for the two of us (in Sept.). Spacious rooms - enough said. Overall, i was extremely pleased with the hotel. However, i'm not sure about paying 6 euros for breakfast, as you sit... more

Cheap and cheerful. We only paid 45 Euro per head for two nights. The location is excellent, very central. The rooms are basic, I was in a twin room, it was very small, the bathroom looked dated but was spotless (and the shower was surprisingly good). I've read reviews which complained about noise, it wasn't an issue for me but... more

In February 2007 a group of us (Four 16 year old boys!) went to stay at this hotel. It was basic enough which wasn't a problem considering it was so cheap. The only problem for us was that after 2 days, they insist that cleaners come in and clean...and after a night out you really don't want to get up... more

This a great budget hotel that is off the main drag, yet close to the beach and some great restaurants and shops. Very small rooms, but very clean. Owners were very friendly. Our main issue was noise. Both nights we could here everything from everyone on our hall. The walls are paper thin. However, if you are looking for a... more

This was a top find. The place is away from the main roads and far away from the bars, so this makes it tranquil. Its about a ten minute walk (max!) to the both nearby beaches which was handy. But maybe not as handy as the other spots slap on the beach. The view from our window was onto a... more

This hotel does what it says on the tin. It gives you cheap clean accomodation but don't expect luxury! more

I stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights during August. Good -> Great location only minutes from the beach Bad -> Staff are unwilling to take responsibility for problems and tried to blame them on myself (one example was their very low quility phones that wouldn't work with French phone cards), staff are rude at times, the cleaning staff ate... more

A great family run hotel central to all Biarritz has to offer. Very friendly and helpful English speaking staff, don’t be put off by the low price, I normally stay at least 4 star but their excellent free wireless internet service, allowing me to continue running my business while having a break, swung the choice this time. The rooms are... more

We stayed at the Argi-Eder for a week at the end of August with two rooms, a twin at the front of the building and a double at the back. Both rooms were simple, nicely decorated and clean but the bathroom of double at the back was just a little too small and the wall to the next room was... more
