Was nearly put off by some of the reviews here especially the comments about the hotel being unfriendly. I'm glad to report we found everything to be top notch. Hotel du Palais is an expensive hotel. But the view is spectacular. The room is huge. The gym is new and well equipped. Restaurant offers very good wines and food. Staff are kind. Location is perfect, close to everything from shopping to sight seeing. more
