it is a smart clean hotel, english speaking staff, very efficient. nice breakfast. the bar though well stocked had no bartender in it, maybe you will have to ask the reception. indians take care to take two pin plugs only for their chargers. ask for directions to le gandhi, a nearby indian hotel. better idea for alchohol lovers is to... more

There are a number of Mercure hotel in Rennes, so make sure you don't mix them up (like I did when I landed). The location is good as it is close to the city center and still walking distance (15 mins) from the main train station.
