Average hotel. We stayed one night. The location is good and the hotel is clean and modern. But that's about it. Our room was small and the TV the smallest I've ever seen. The receptionist lost interest when we didn't book breakfast upon arrival. The door to the shower in our room was also loose so the floor became wet... more

We are very surprised even offensed by the comment. At the first reading we thought there was a mix-up. We apologize to you for the disappointement. Regarding, the reception, we want to assure all the Customers that there is no matter if you dont want the breakfast. Everybody is free and we dont bear somebody a grudge for not having...

Stayed for 2 nights in October 2008. The hotel is situated inside the walled town of St Malo in a quiet street. We were welcomed by the owners and given our room key (room 7). The hotel is small and friendly but the the thing you notice is that everywhere is immaculately clean. This is a great value hotel and... more

Hotel Le Nautilus ... yes, the rooms are on the small side (but not cramped); and yes, the colourful decor may not be too everyone's taste (but beautifully co-ordinated!) - but there is just a certain "je ne sais qua" about the place that makes you fall in love with this hotel. Inside the atmospheric walled granite town of St... more

We used tripadvisor to find this hotel and were not dissappointed. We had a triple for one night. It was very clean and there was plenty of room for us. It is located within the walled city in St Malo. There are lots of shops and things there and it's very close to the beach and ramparts. The proprietor of... more

Everything's been posted already. An excellent, well run hotel in a fantastic location. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Sent me to right restaurants for dinner! I had Room 16--a tiny room in the attic. I loved it. It was perfect. So colorful and comfortable. Great value for money. more

This little hotel is rated no.1 for more than a year and it is well deserved. It is a quite place, perfectly located with friendly owners and we were there for a week. It is difficult to add something new to all the positive reviews, but keep in mind that St-Malo is more than the old city; Mont St-Michel, Jersey... more

Everything has been mentioned in previous reviews. The decor throughout is coordinated, modern and bright. This small bed and breakfast hotel is extremely well managed, clean, quiet, maintained to an excellent standard and the owners are very hospitable. The breakfast is simple but fresh and ample. The bedrooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds. The shower ensuites are small... more

Hotel Le Nautilis is in a fabulous location just inside the walls (intra-muros) near the Porte St Vincent entrance. The hotel is on a quiet side street seconds away from the heart of St Malo & the beaches. Our welcome to the hotel was very warm and throughout our stay there was always someone on hand to help us or... more

We have just returned from an excellent stay in the lovely city of St Malo. Le Nautilus is in an ideal location for the spectacular walled part of the city and the intricate cobbled streets that lie inside. The hotel owner is extremely friendly, speaks excellent English, and helped us eat well by booking restaurants for us (Le Petit Bouchot... more
