We reserved one family room, as we were travelling with our two kids, for one night and what we found wasn't at all the room they propose and show in the pictures of their site. We of course rised our disappointment to the lady in the reception but without feeling too much involved in the matter, she just answered that... more

I stayed 3 nights here with my 7 year old son. 2 nights were in a standard room ( $117) and 1 night in a deluxe room. The location is fantastic, but otherwise the hotel is acceptable, but no frills. Seems like some of the rooms have been renovated and some not. We had a taster of both. Our standard... more

I also stayed in Room 205, on July 19, and felt it was nice and comfortable, but still overpriced. Despite the renovations, the room is a bit stark, without much warmth or character. The bath is excellent. The reason I'm writing this review is because of the noise from the downstairs lobby. Even though there are two heavy doors, the... more

I read many of the reviews and was a little scared of the place, but we just returned and I have to say the hotel was great. We stayed in room 205, at the top of the stairs. It was recently renovated with great bed and bedding, and sparkling bathroom (the hairdryer didn't work). They are still doing renovations. The... more

We stayed there one night, and found it to be adequate, at best. Bathroom, however looked recently remodeled and was more than adequate. Fine location. Kind of typical of most hotels in the area. It's only two floors, and i don't think thay have an elevator. If you don't have particularly high expectation, you'll be satisfied. more

We spent one night at this hotel. Based on the write up online (not on Trip Advisor), I expected a nice, quaint hotel. I was disappointed in the overall look and comfort of the hotel. The building is old and charming but the rooms are sorely in need of an update. We had a "superior room" which consisted of a... more

I swore I would not write a review, but a year has passed and I felt I should respond. At the time we booked, the reviews were not too bad, so we stayed there because of the price. Upon check in, we knew the staff would not be cooperative or friendly. They appeared to be not interested at all. The... more

We stayed at the Tulip Inn in July '06, and while I can appreciate that due to the fact it's an old building, there will be some shortcomings, there's much you can't forgive: - Poor bath and bed linen. - Creaky old beds. - Tired decoration. - Damaged / inoperable bathrooms. - Tiny, tiny rooms. Yes the location is great,... more

I was at the Tulip Inn for a week in June. I selected this place over others because of its location, and let me say that it DOES have a great location. However....much like what other patrons have said, the place needs some work. My room was acutally is pretty good condition. The bathroom needed to be scrubbed with bleech,... more
