Half way stop on way back to ferry on car holiday in Alsace. Great central location with easy access to pedestrian zone and avenue des champagne where a lot of the champagne houses are. After using Epernay as a stop off for eight years or so we have decided the Ibis is the best option. This is a 2* hotel and we weren't surprised when we arrived. The hotel is situated pretty much in the centre of Epernay, so it's a good location. Cannot fault the rooms at all, they're basic, but most importantly, they're clean. There's a bar and a restaurant area for late evening drinks. Didn't try the food, so can't comment. One... more
