It seems folks either love it or hate it. I'm from MN USA and was with my Fiance for vacation. If you like to gamble go for it -I just think you will be bummed about something during your stay here. -Biggest disappointment: the cleaning gal left our room open and unlocked -fortunately nothing was stolen- we left at 9am... more

You really get what you pay for. The room itself was basic, OK for a Paris hotel for this price, and the room looked clean, so no complaints there. But it was HOT and there was no a/c. There was a fan provided in the room but the shortage of electrical sockets meant that we had to place it right... more

This hotel has a nice location, but there was no air conditioning and no screens on the windows. The windows had to remain open because of the heat. WE had asked for a triple room and it was very cramped. We had breakfast one of the mornings at 10 euro's per person (that was about $13 to $14 dollars) The... more

We only stayed here because our cousin was already staying there, and we wanted to be in the same hotel as him. Big mistake! Alarm bells should have gone off when we saw the price per night, and then the location. Good location, close to St Lazare station, and the shopping district, Boulevard Haussmann. So it is cheap (for Paris... more

We had a horrible experience here. We booked two triple rooms for the weekend to share between 5 people, and hotels.com said that a triple room contained 3 twin beds. When we arrived they only had triple rooms with a full bed and a twin cot, all of which had plastic matresses and were disgusting. The rooms were tiny, they... more

We arrived at the Charing Cross late last thurs night. The hotel was easy to find and in a great location. The gentleman at the desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was fine, extremely clean and tidy with three beds (all v comfortable, slept so well..i'd say the constant walking helped too!). We were on the third floor... more

If you look at internet pictures of the room and lobby, you'll wonder if you are in the same hotel when you get there. The front desk staff is very friendly. When you leave the hotel you have to leave the key at the front desk. If you are claustrophobic, you won't like the elevator, very cramped and only goes... more

My teenage daughters and I spent 7 nights in this hotel in early December. The location is fantastic, just around the corner from Gare St. Lazare, Printemps, Gallaries Lafayatte and The Opera so we were able to get anywhere quickly or spend hours shopping! With the exception of the female receptionist, who was a little rude, the staff were very... more

One could not ask for a better location if you want to be near the Department Stores and the Gare St. Lazare is very close. Lots of retaurants and shopping. The front desk was always helpful and spoke good English. My room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was nicely tiled. For a modest price it offered all I... more
