We stayed for one night in a standard room. The hotel was great and so was the room. Breakfast not so good as the coked part was not hot. Generally this is a very good pleasant hotel 10 minute walk from the town centre. We enjoyed staying there and the room service breakfast was phenomenal. Stayed here for ten days at the beginning of August. Very good location within walking distance of the town and the Vieux Port. Excellent carpark with plenty of spaces. Good breakfast but expensive. Although part of a large chain, this Novotel is very good. Great location in La Rochelle - away from traffic, but only 10 min walk into the town, very quiet, large car park (v. imp. in La Roc), staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. 3 star (infact I would say 3 plus) hotel with good facilities, with only a short walk to the centre of La Rochelle; rooms clean, helpful staff. Also has parking which after a short time you soon realise is at a real premium in La Rochelle. more
