I have just got back from Le Royal in Nice, and found the hotel very pleasant and relaxed. We stayed at the Le Royal for two nights at Easter. What an amazing location! Le Royal is directly across from the sea. It has large rooms, comfortable beds, and super clean bathrooms. We ended up having to stay in NIce as there was not a single hotel room available in Marseille at the RWC 2007 Quarter Finals - but what a stroke of luck. We stayed at Le Royal for one night before our flight. The location was awesome. We paid for the sea view room and the view was beautiful. I was surprised that they let us check in a few hours early because our room was already ready. There were 2 twin beds (pretty common in Europe) and they were quite comfortable.... more
