Following is copy of letter I sent to Hotel: This past Monday, my family and I had dinner at your restaurant. Having eaten there in the past, we were looking forward to an enjoyable evening consisting of fine food and wonderful ambience. The restaurant was as beautiful as ever and the food was more than satisfactory. What ruined the evening... more

This is one of the sweetest hotels I've ever stayed at. What a wonderful hotel. The village was so beautiful and our favorite...watching the locals play bocce ball. more

We stayed here with friends for 3 nights. Yes, its very quaint and yes, the staff were nice but, because of not having any outdoor facilities (a terrace to sit and read would be nice), you actually feel rather like you're in a prison; although one which offers free Madeleines from 2pm onwards. The Epicurian Dinner menu was good for... more

The village of Saint Paul Du Vence must be one of the most beautifull in Europe and this hotel compliments the village perfectly. Small, quaint and beautiful, this hotel is a joy. Our room was small and overlooked the winding village street .Decorated and presented in a manner that adds to the whole St Paul experience. The bathroom is spotlessly... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in April 2008. The restaurant is wonderful. The room was big and nicely decorated, but hot and stuffy because the hotel hadn't yet turned off the heat. We had to sleep with the window open (there was only one window). Because it is a walled city, the streets are very narrow and act as a... more

Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife in September 2007 in the Honeymoon suite and it was worth every penny with great views over the valley. The hotel itself is in a great location and the staff were extremely attentive without being annoying. The standard rooms are small and I took a previous reviewers advice of booking a larger... more

We just stayed there for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had a beautiful, large room with a big bath. It overlooked the town which basically means you look out over a ten foot wide pedestrian street and right at other buildings. It has a beautiful restaurant, with great food and service. Access to the hotel is challenging given... more

Other than the fact that the rooms are on the small side, this is a totally charming hotel with a very friendly staff. The restaurant well deserves its Michelin star and serves creative cuisine that is definitely worth the cost despite what other reviewers have said. We recommend it without reservation. more

St Paul de Vence in a tourist trap. It gets umpteem coach parties a day and many other visitors who crawl around the place and can make it feel overrun at times. Nonetheless it has real charm; it's a very old hill top village and away from the main shopping street surprisingly quiet early in the morning and after around... more
