We chose the Mercure after reading the other reviews on this website. After arriving there, we thought we must have the wrong hotel. But after double checking, there is only one Mercure in central Annecy. The room was terrible! A standard, clean, business-type hotel. We stayed in Annecy for a long weekend of trekking/eating, and got what we came for! Stunning scenary around lake Annecy and excellent local food! Highly recommended for eating/outdoor enthusiasts. more
