When I've to attend an exhibition at "Neue Messe München" I always stay at the Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel (don't mix with the much worse Arabella Sheraton across the road!). I booked this hotel for 2 nights . Very central location, close to U Bahn, and walking. to get to hauptbahnhoff to go anywhere by train in Europe. I was going to Italy. Parks and very Bavarian. I love it. and will be back. Thank you Munich. more

The lobby area is very impressive. If you believe first impressions count, then this makes a very good impresssion. Generally the finish and the decor are good throughout the property. The collection of classic cars dotted around the lobby and public areas makes a pleasant change from the usual hotel decor. There is not much to say about the 5 stars of this hotel, they deserve them, this is as luxurious as they come. I found the staff to be very friendly (albeit a bit cold and anonymous at times) but the high level of courtesy is something I have not had in a long time. The lobby is very impressive... more
