Great value hotel with excellant service and good breakfast. The location is a little out of the city centre but its only about four tram stops from the main Hoptbahnhof station. We found the accommodation easy to find and was just what we wanted. Not far from the train station and only a short trip to the underground, which took us to see all the wonderful sights of Munich. Clean, bright rooms. We were supposed to have a bigger room which somehow wasn't available but they charged us 30 Euro fewer per night which was nice. Was farther away from the center of Munich's old center than they said. It was at least half an hour by foot. Great breakfast. more

First, this hotel is very difficult to find. Two, they said they messed up on our room and that only a small room was available (for 3 adults). I paid a very reasonable rate for the hotel room (about $60pn) which is unbelievable for Munich. Spent 3 nights at Hotel Kurpfalz and would defiantly stay there again. Excellent hotel, picked for location, 2 minutes walk from Oktoberfest. Clean rooms and comfortable beds, very good nights sleep.
