My wife and I spend two nights at this hotel in early October. I wanted to stay close to the Weisn in case I had trouble walking back. All of the hotels jack up the price during the festival. Though overpriced, the Condor didn't bankrupt us. Hotel is very conveniently located in the center of the city 5 minutes walk... more
Stayed here for Oktoberfest. Location is good, very close to subway and train station. Room and bathroom are just too small. Breakfast is very good. There is also a laptop in the lobby that you can use to access the Internet. Staffs are very helpful and polite. However, I found it kind of noisy at night. Noise from the other... more
I have stayed at hotel Condor several times during my business trips. It is conveniently located close to railway station, but on a quiet street. Rooms and bathrooms are quite small and old fashioned, but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included in the rate and is very good, they have fruits, muesli, juices, several varieties of cheese and ham,... more
IN SHORT: It's about 2 short blocks from the main station (Hauptbanhoff) and if you can get a good deal, it's a great find with an air of luxury. MORE DETAIL: I had done a tour of eastern europe starting in Munich at the AO Hostel Hotel a bit further from the main station. Upon my return I thought I'd... more
Good budget hotel for its price. The room setting is nice, clean and flowery (flowery carpets!). We got a corner room, so i guess its more spacious than other rooms. Dining room setting was really nice too (they have a small rose garden outside the dining room). Situated in a quiet street, 5 minutes walk to the fountain of Karlsplatz. more
I have recently come back from Munich, I was in business travel and the hotel was perfect, in the centre of the city, nice rooms, many flowers, very clean and the breakfast was good. I recommend it for the good treat all the women gave to us. more
After checking in at the Condor, we tried to reach our room on the 5th floor using the tiny lift in the cramped lobby. Unfortunately, a staff member was transporting dirty laundry and told us to wait. We took the stairs instead and found that renovations were taking place and equipment littered the halls. When we reached the room I... more
Myself and 2 friends stayed in the Condor for 3 nites during the Oktoberfest 2006. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this little hotel. The location was great!... just minutes from the main station, 15 minute walk to the Marianplatz and most importantly...about 10 minute walk to the beer tents!! The staff were very friendly and obliging with... more
Found this great little hotel for myself and seven colleagues travelling to a conference in Munich. The service was friendly, the rooms spotless and the breakfasts very tasty. The best things were the pretty courtyard where we spent a lot of time enjoying the local beers, and the proximity to the station/U-bahn which we used every day. It's about 2... more
