The hotel itself is very nice with only a few rooms per floor (20+ floors). One drawback is that the air conditioning is really a fan even though a thermostat is in the room. I stayed at Main Plaza 38 times in 2004 and about 20 times in 2003! Before I tried other Frankfurt hotels like Steigenberger, Maritim, Frankfurter Hof etc. but Main Plaza is the best: 1. Although a bit from the centre, but you can walk beautifully besides the mainz towards the centre! The Hotel is new and very modern. The rooms are really spacious. We had rooms on high floors so the view was al over Frankfurt. The rooms are very complete, even a kitchenette! Very nice bathroom, magazines are as well in the room.... more
