My husband and I were on a road trip in Europe when we chose to stay at Pension Lubeck. We chose it on spec as it was the right price and seemed clean. Trier is Germany's oldest city; it combines a lovely setting on the Moselle with remarkable Roman ruins and some interesting museums.
