We stayed in this hotel for one night on a short sightseeing trip with our two children. Two spacious double rooms with a connecting door turned into sort of a family suite. just wanted to let other travellers know that this hotel is an excellent choice for both location and comfort and a genuine non smoking rooms which for an asthmatic is quite important. Large clean sweet smelling rooms ( request non smoking if you dont smoke) with no excess frills that have to be built into the price..but the services are... more

The Penta Hotel is right in the city centre of Trier not far from the Amphitheatre. For the price of a double room we got an entire suite with a cooked breakfast thrown in for good measure. There is discounted underground parking ( 8 euros for overnight). There are a load of good quality eating placers nearby- Try the Kartoffel... more
