We stayed at the Pullman for one night on our three week tour on Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic. The hotel is modern, clean with a great location for rail travelers and close to the city center. The room was a little small and the bath was kind of open to the room. The shower was between the bath... more

The highlight of this hotel was the slick design and high-quality construction: well-made rooms, quality materials, interesting architecture, very sound proof. The rooms are very small but not akwardly so like in some other old hotels: if you're organized all your stuff can be fitted neatly in some closet or other. My room included a floor-to-ceiling window with a great... more

The hotel is located just a five minute walk from the central train station in Dresden's main shopping street, and a ten to fifteen minute walk from the beautiful Altstadt. I was on the eleventh floor, so got great views over the city from my room, which was really modern and clean. Unlike some other contributors, I didn't think the... more

Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice hotel. But the rooms are small compared to other Mercures I have stayed at and some might not get over the shower in the middle of the room (there is a shower curtain to pull for privacy). Breakfast is very expensive (16 Euro each) and you can't get a package deal... more

This hotel is in a convenient position particularly for shopping. It is very clean. However, it is let down by the fact that the rooms are small and the bathroom is nonexistent. The glass shower and vanity are in the room itself and there is not much room to put anything. We always expect a separate bathroom not a shower in... more

I stayed here for two weeks with my husband, who was working in Dresden for five weeks. The location is quite good, it's a bit outside the old city, but on the main shopping street, pragerstrasse. The central train station is only a five minute or less walk from the hotel. If you want to walk to the historical section,... more

We weren't expecting too much to be honest. A modernized hotel in a dull street in Dresden, priced below average and part of a chain to usually doesn't really excel. But we were very much surprised. The staff at checkin was very friendly, the lobby looks really nice and chique. The bar is a bit of a smokers heaven but... more

Convenient to the DB trains. Located on a pedestrian walk that leads to the historic sites. Nice rooms, very good breakfast. more

Good hotel, located right next to the train station on Prager Strasse and within walking distance of all main sights. The hotel looks dull from from the outside (a huge structure with identical rooms filling both the front and back wall of the block), but is much better on the inside: it has a modern feel with discrete design touches.... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights two weeks before Christmas. The hotel is very modern with smallish but stylish rooms with incredible "glass" showers. Breakfast is wonderful and a good start for the day. The hotel is situated near to the main station and overlooks part of the pedestrian zone in Dresden. Excellent for discovering the town, the... more
