I stayed at the 4 Points hotel in Dresden for four nights. The hotel was a little bit difficult to find from the instructions given on the Expedia website but once there, check in was very smooth. It has a spacious reception area and 2 lifts to the rooms (controlled by your room card). My room was on the 2nd... more

Having stayed in other Sheraton hotels, this one was disappointing. On the plus side, the location is good - a short tram ride to the centre, local shops for food and clothing, a beautiful large park just up the road, and several restaurants on the doorstep (including Chinese, Japanese and Italian and an excellent German one called "Homage" which has... more

Great location and nice hotel. Lower floors have "wifi" wireless internet access. Nearby there is a great restaurant Homage - Wasaplatz 1, tel: [--]. Great food and cheap prices (four people at 60Euro). more

This is a very pleasant hotel that served me well during a 3-night stay. I had a Preferred Guest room which was very comfortable and roomy, although the bathroom was a little small and it lacked an iron/ironing board and coffee/tea making facilities. The hotel restaurant was first-class with good food and attentive service. Room service was also very good... more

As others have noted, this would be a great hotel if it was closer to town. I was hosting a tour with primarily elderly people, and there were only a couple of restaurants and a bakery in the area to get food. I walked to the Technical University (about 15 minutes away), and had a wonderful dinner on the 6th... more

One night stay while touring Dresden. Location is somewhat city environment. Relatively easy to find by car because detailed MapQuest map was accurate and traffic volume was low at the time. Easy to park at registration area. Underground parking garage easy to access (room key for elevator security), but 10 €, far down, and tight spaces. Some street parking appeared... more

If one doesn't mind to be away from the centre, this is an excellent and very welcoming hotel. The room was lovely, quiet, fresh, and the best I recently had comparing various hotels and considering the price paied , not much at all. The area is residential. There were some works under way on public roads. It may be temporarily... more

I stayed here 17 - 20 May 2007. The hotel is situation in a pleasant suburb a little way from the old town. I had booked a single room which turned out to be at the front of the building on the main street where there is a tram stop.I asked for an inside room, but was told there are... more

We stayed for 4 nights for sightseeing in Dresden. We booked a 4-nights package in a double room that includes breakfast and some other extras for 195 Euro per person. It was a large and clean room facing the backyard, so no complaints about street noise here. Good mattress and overall pleasant room, although we found the bathroom to be... more

Stayed for 3 days in Dresden and surrounding area. Excellent hotel, staff and city. Clean rooms, great service and easy to get to "old town" Dresden. Tram and bus across the street, always on time and all-day pass from the hotel for 5 Euros for 2 persons. Exceptional historical architecture in old town. Great food at Sophien Keller. Drive out... more
