We enjoyed a great package price - 165 euros per person for three nights, including the huge buffet breakfast. The location is superb - just outside the old town and even closer to the riverbank where Dresden's famous Weisseflotte ( White Fleet ) departs from. Great hotel, clean, bright ,beautiful view over the river Elba and the old city. Within walking distance to all tourist attractions, breakfast well above any other we had in Germnany. A extremely pleasant stay. more

Stayed for 4 nights a week or so ago. Very conveniently placed - a short walk into the old town and a walk over the bridge to the Neustadt. Staff were pleasant. We stayed at this hotel for 5 days last week. Prior to going I read the review posted by the member from Dallas, Texas and was concerned that the hotel would not come up to the expected standard. I stayed here for one night when attending an REM concert. The hotel was a great location for it - just a 10 min walk over the bridge and it had some great views from the room. As noted in some of the other reviews, this hotel is relatively cheap, and is not too far from the city center. However, I was surprised to find that it did not have air conditioning in the rooms, and had showers only (no bath tub) in the bathroom. If those are not concerns, then go for it. more

Extremely nice hotel with reasonable room rates. Easy and pleasant 8-minute walk along the river into the gorgeous historic city center. Ask for a room with a river view. You will love it. I would return here in a heartbeat. more

Very good hotel. Perfectly located to visit the centre. Large rooms with great view over the town. Helpful staff that helped us on how to get there from the station (by the way, very easy with the tram stop just a couple of minute away) To recommend for a stay in Dresden. more
