There isn't alot wrong with this hotel, other than its location. Its just sort of bland. The rooms are smallish and cluttered but not offensive. The staff is pleasant. The breakfast is ok. There were only two real problems. The first is that the non-smoking rooms on the second floor became smoking rooms because the staff smokes in the back... more

The hotel is in Neustadt, a little bit of a hike to the main attractions of Dresden (or about a 7 euro cab ride). The rooms are minimalist, but are clean and the beds are comfortable. We spent three nights at the Mark Hotel Alpha in Dresden. It was easy to find from the autobahn. At first we thought the neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy but, we never had any problems at all.
