A good hotel with lift and small reception area. The rooms were nice and the breakfast room was bright and spacous. The breakfast menue was very good. All receptionists spoke very good English. Alta Speicher has an excellent location. But the reception area, the dining room, and the bedroom were all drab and less than clean. The decor was 1970s - the room looked ready for a re-do. The rates were 30% more (with breakfast) than at another hotel in its class (the Excelsior) and the staff wasn't nearly as helpful. Skip this... more
