Hotel located 7 km from downtown Jena but very easy to reach with the Tram. ***Which ís free if you are staying at the Hotel. The reception team is very nice and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and very nice. Breakfast was a full buffet. more

We stayed at the Maxx hotel overnight on our way to Czech Republic. Due to extensive road works in Jena we did take a while to find our way there - we could see it but could not find road to get there easily! However once there we enjoyed a comfortable night's stay. I would agree about the very flat... more

This hotel is a solid 3 stars. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Located in the heart of the Soviet Era housing block known as Lobeda this hotel is conveniently located near the Autobahn. It is listed as 4 stars, but here are a few items that need attention before I would agree: No Air Conditioning No facecloth (washcloth)... more
