Small wannabe boutique hotel in a dismal beach town. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and gracious - especially Ana, but I still had problems with heat and hot water and, not speaking Spanish, had a difficult time communicating. A modern boutique hotel, the great hotel website really shows how it is! The rooms are simple, modern and clean. We got a sea view. The staff were friendly and relaxed. We stayed at Hotel MC San Jose for a long weekend in May and it was fantastic! They had breakfast included which was very fresh - offering breads, cheeses, meats and a fruit selection.
