Recently spent four nights at this hotel. It is a lovely hotel in a very beautiful old city. Staff were very friendly with the hotel immaculate - marble everywhere. The rooms are not very big but are a decent size and it is a fine sized bathroom too. Lots of toileteries. The noise was bad on the Thursday night but... more

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Hospederia Las Cortes de Cadiz last week. The attractive entrance is on a pedestrian street in the heart of the beautiful old city. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the room and common areas to be spotless and well-maintained. There's a PC in the lobby for internet use... more

Hotel was well-located, with a cafe attached which would provide the breakfast. Reception area was very dark and a bit fore-boding. Room stank of smoke, which was my big issue. The bed was rather lumpy, and overall, did not have a comfortable 2 nights there. Other than that, the room was clean and for the price I paid, was acceptable.... more

Positive: perfect location in the centre, friendly and helpful staff, very clean and tidy, nice buliding Negative: due to its location quite noisy and you can only choose either a room with no daylight or a room towards the street (pedestrian area). The latter means noise from the street due to people chatting and laughing until late and due to... more

Stayed in this hotel in Oct. 2005. Overall, excellent value and GREAT location. 1. Room - very clean and nicely decorated. No window, only a skylight. We didn't spend much time in the room during the day, so not having a window didn't really matter. The shower was small and a bit claustrophobic (no bath tub). The bathroom was spotless... more

This hotel is situated in the centre of the old town and is convenient from that point of view. We took two rooms which were clean and simply, but attractively, furnished. There were, however, a couple of major negative points. Firstly neither of the rooms had an exterior window. The only source of light was from a fanlight above the... more

Though the hotel looked lovely and was very clean and furnished attractively, I was sorry to find out that half the rooms ( usually priced at 120 euros + taxes!!!) have no window at all, only a partly glassed door opening onto a patio which is itself closed. Even in the daytime there was not enough light in the room... more

We stayed at this three-star hotel for two nights in November 2004. It's perfectly situated in the middle of Cadiz' old town. As it is on a pedestrian-only street, don't attempt to drive there. Contact the hotel (or check their webpage) for directions to a near-by parking garage. The hotel is in a beautifully restored building, and our room was... more

We stayed, last March (2004) at a new hotel called Hospederia Las Cortes de Cadiz. It's on C/San Francisco. Which is a pedestrian only street, so if you take a cab, the driver will let you off a half block away. Which is no problem; it's a very short walk. It is in a really amazingly beautiful restored mansion. They've... more
