Check-in was OK - a little slow, but the staff were friendly and moderately helpful. There is no concierge, so getting recommendations for local restaurants etc. is a bit hit and miss. We recently stayed at the Dunas Puerto for 2 days. It is a 2 minute walk to the La Playa Puntilla. Our rooms were very nice and the staff was friendly and spoke English.
