My family and I stayed here for one week at the end of October. The apartments are fantastic and I loved the fact we had a home away from home! They have everything you need including full kitchen with all equipment, fridge, freezer, cooker, oven, microwave etc. as well as a utility room with tumble dryer, washing machine, ironing board... more

I have owned at this property since pre construction and I can honestly say the standards are improving from good to very good. The front desk is now much better staffed, the shop is better, 'At your service' is quicker, efficient and accurate. The 'Solera' restaurant is a marked improvement over last year and is losing its reputation as a... more

Overall: As owners of several Marriott weeks in the U.S. we visited the Marriott Playa Andaluza (MPA) for five nights in mid July 2008. Our trip was half leisure and half touring – the experience was wonderful and typifies the essence of everything we enjoy as Marriott timeshare owners (we own multiple weeks at multiple locations). The items below describe... more

We have stayed at both Marriot's in Costa del Sol. As noted prior the beach is all rocky, but easily accessible and closer to the resort. Estepona- good restuarants across the road. Same set-up as Marbella, but much further away from the favorite villages of Nerja and Mijas. Both restuarants way over price- as expected. I really liked the lounge... more

We are not Spanish speaking and had some reservations about going to this seaside resort. It proved to be one of our best vacations. A rental car is important to have. Don't get a full size car since parking can be difficult and some of the roads are very narrow in the older towns. Getting to the resort from the... more

I stayed at Marriott Estepona resort during easter week in 2008. The resort has beautiful grounds right on the costa del sol with views of the mountains & beach. The rooms are spacious, fully equiped, very clean and new looking. We had 4 adults in our room with a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. There is a gift shop that... more

The apartments are wonderful, as are the grounds. 3 Great pools and the whole place felt very safe and extremly clean! However the service in the restaurant, bar and shop was soooo slow!!! Only 1 member of staff on at one time! Food was very over priced and all mexican or american food! Not one spanish dish in sight! Plus... more

It was our first trip to the Costa del Sol and the flight from Dublin wasn't great as it was full of screaming kids whose parents conveniently pretended they didn't own them, plus a load of package holidaymakers on their way to Horremelenous. The resort is situated on a pretty unpleasenet stretch of coastline, between the main road and a... more

This hotel is extremely beautiful, beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms, but is definitely lacking in some areas. We were extremely disappointed in the beach. The beach was extremely rocky and looked terrible. I did get some great pictures of the sunset coming down over the mountains however. There isn't a restaurant on site (I think they are building it) so we... more

Typical Marriott timeshare set up with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen. beautiful Spanish decor, all rooms have balcony overlooking ocean. Felt totally safe, locked gate to private beach, underground parking (very tight get a small car). Personal very helpful, concierge to plan excursions. Restuarant on site- so-so and expensive. Flamenco show on Thursday expensive but worth it, Supermarket 5 minute... more
