As other reviewers have said this is essentially an airport hotel. That said, the rooms are double-glazed and we heard no noise at all. We found the staff very friendly and yes, we did wait a long time to go into the restaurant but that was because 20-30 people all came down at the same time. Again the staff were... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and I was expecting something very pleasant. From the moment I arrived, I was insulted, treated like scum and there was not a hint of hospitality. When checking in, I joined the back of a huge group of around 20 women. The hotel simply could not cope with this so I waited... more

If you look for a green evironment... No way... The hotel is just next to the highyway and it's very busy, and noisy. At the hotel is a little garden and a swingpool. The reception desk were friendly and helpful, rooms are good sized and have wifi, witch is a big plus I think! Also a very clean hotel and... more

Poor breakfast! I had to ask for some real coffee! The waiters were not available and I had to go and call them from the kitchen. People at the reception desk OK, but the "children's room" was no more than three or four square metres! more

Horrible! Situated in a nightmare world of vacant lots and highways miles out of town. OK the room was acceptable but the breakfast was vile - just how do you do that to coffee!? Staff apathetic and who can blame them. Corporate blandness with a strong splash of meanness. Do not go there! The positive reviews are a deep mystery!! more

We had an early morning flight back from Malaga and found this hotel to be more than ideal for a one night stay. Arriving at the hotel from Granada in mid afternoon we were able to relax by the pool and enjoy our last afternoon in Spain! Agree with previous reviews with regard to the price of the food, but... more

In light of Spain's poor reputation for quality of hotels, the Novotel Malaga is just about as good as it gets. As frequent travelers, my family is quite demanding and it was difficult to find a good hotel in and around Malaga. This hotel is only about one year old and is of very high quality. Comfortable rooms, very comfy... more

We made a tour trough Andalucia. We landed at the Airport at Malaga and we stayed a night in the Novotel Hotel Malaga. It has a good standart, it is clean and the rooms are very good. We had a diner and a breakfast in the hotel and the quality was also very good, but I found the prices for... more

Needed an overnight stop following a late evening arrival in Malaga before heading off to tour Andalusia. Novotel fitted the bill perfectly, clean well appointed room, comfortable bed, quiet position facing onto the pool - rooms facing the main road may be noisy. Restaurant food good quality and served quickly, car park under the hotel. Hotel is situated in the... more

I was in Malaga for a short 1 night stay the last weekend. The hotel is easy to reach by car on the way from the airport to the city-center. A business area around, nothing special, not good without a car. Check in was possible at 10.30 am and I hold the room till 1 pm the next day without... more
