We stayed for a week at El Gecko and we had a marvellous time. We had travelled to Spain by train stopping off in Cordoba and Granada. After a few days in the towns it was nice to be able to relax in a much more rural area. The hotel is easy to find from the station. Leave the platforms... more

My wife & I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights but wished it had been longer. We visited the El Gecko Hotel, the host Sara is just so welcoming. A new chief called Robert has just started work and is bringing in people from far a wide. El Gecko is certainly one of the most homely hotels i have stayed in during my travels through spain. It is located in a small white village near to Gaucin and Rhonda, with excellent transport from the train station only 2 minutes away.
