Stayed two nights in in November. We could never afford this place "in season " but this was a nice way to end our trip . Our room (a suite) was spacious and nice toiletries were kept well-stocked by houskeeping. Chilly nights and nice days. It is a 45 min. walk along the beach/"boardwalk" to the Old Town. However we... more

I stayed at the Marbella Club Hotel with my family at the end of September 2008. We were going to stay there for 3 nights and then travel to Seville but we gave up after 2 nights and checked out early. The biggest problem with this hotel was the service. The staff was unprofessional and unfriendly to the point of... more

My wife and I are jsut back from four fantastic nights in the MC. We booked one of the deluxe beach front rooms and we were delighted we did- the room was lovely, spacious and is located right on beach end of the property with superb sea views and a beatiful balcony- The spa is located right under the block... more

It is without doubt from the moment you enter the reception that this was once the place to be. It has a timeless grace about it. I think it is a must to experience once in a lifetime, but for me I felt it was rather shallow & soul-less. The world has so much more to offer. Privacy is not... more

After a 9 year break-up, I consoled myself with a trip to the Marbella Club and whilst I wasn't a girl bent on revenge I'm sure the ex's jaw took a slight drop when he got the Amex bill... As the other reviews point out, it's not cheap but then again, I was in recovery and it was a far... more

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in June, and it is very nice resort, but the service and amenities don't match the price tag. I am guessing the weak dollar doesn't help, but the prices for everything at the resort were ridiculous and the service was not 5Star in my view. Our AC didn't work for the... more

I wanted to love the Marbella Club, but I just liked it. We booked last minute, and felt lucky to get in, but we were booked in the older rooms that were not renovated. They were fine, but not 5 star. Make sure you get a renovated room. Friends in newer rooms had very beautiful rooms, same size but more... more

I had some apprehensions about Marbella club. Some of the reviews mentioned it looked old, tired and that the crowd was also old. All of the above turned out to be untrue. The property is truly beautiful. Lush gardens, spacious room...actually, we got upgraded to a suite and it was fantastic! This hotel's rooms and service is on par with... more

I have stayed at the Marbella club quite a few times over the years. It just keeps getting better. I travel 60 or 70 thousand miles a year and this is the only Hotel I really look forwards to coming back to. Ignore the middle class English complaints, they would of course prefer the Puente Romano because they just would'nt... more

we had a wonderful faultless stay here, we even got upgraded and had a lovely room with one of the most comfortable beds i've ever slept in! All the staff were very helpful and polite. The spa wasn't the best i'd ever visited but was fine to use when the weather turned bad considering we had 2 free passes from... more
