The room was not ready when we showed up. It wasn't as centered as I thought it would to the main touristic attractions. It was my 3rd trip in Europe and I must have stayed in more than 30 hostals total. I have never had such a bad experience. It was very noisy at night. The room was clean and... more

I stayed there for a week. Clean and confortable rooms (but not to big) with air conditioning. Friendly staff. I travelled alone and felt safe there. I would stay there again definitely. more

Stayed here for Semana Santa 08, mainly because no other options available but it turned out to be an excellent location. room was small but clean and comfortable. staff were friendly. location was safe and crucially during semana santa, it was quiet. It's 2 minutes from the main shopping streets and about 10 or so minutes from the cathedral. There... more

Great location, very reasonably priced and good value for money, despite the unfavourable exchange rate! Rooms basic but comfortable and clean. Our Spanish came on in leaps and bounds as the staff, generally very helpful, friendly and elderly ,don't speak any English. Street noise can be a bit of a problem if you're a light sleeper so invest in some... more

The staff at Hostal Museo speak very little/no English but are very friendly. The room we stayed in was small but immaculate and had a TV and air conditioning. The beds were very comfortable but the shower was tiny! It's about a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and about 5 minutes to the main bus station. more

We stayed in Room 1 for 2 nights. There was a lot of street noise: in the morning, there was construction, and at night, there were motorbikes and people out on the street talking. The hot water in the shower ran out quickly. It felt like the staff had cut corners a bit more than average - leaving us without... more

When I booked a double room they didn't say to me that the room was near the reception (2 meters). So: strong noise all night long despite my riot! (the congierge didn't understand english, french or italian). Terrible. It's sad because the hotel is well located and clean. I paied 58€ per night. Be careful, do not book the rooms... more

My wife and I spent 3 nights in March. It's a 20-minute walk to the Alcazar and Cathedral, but it's an interesting walk. We had room 31, which is the only room on the 3d floor, and is a very quiet double room. (The elevator only goes to the 2d floor.) The hotel is on a little-used side street, so... more

The Hostal was very clean and quiet, just like the way we like. The room and the bathroom are a little too small but nice. I actually expected everybody to be nicer and more welcoming following the past reviews...I am sorry I cannot say the same thing. I was expecting a little more help, since before my arrival they assured... more

I stayed at Hostal Museo in July 2006 and have nothing but positive things to say about it. I expected the place to resemble a college dormitory, much as hostels do elsewhere, and was pleasantly surprised to find that Hostal Museo is really a hotel in its own right. The rooms are not large but they are comfortable and very... more
