Great location (in the heart of the medieval city, next to the cathedral), great deco and good service, but my room was quite small and very dark for a 5* hotel. The food and wine at the restaurant of the hotel were both outstanding! more

Our room was comfortable, nice bathroom, exercise room downstairs and OJ available in lobby. But, we had a mixup with a dinner reservation and it was the front desk's fault. I attribute the mistake to their not understanding English fluently, yet saying that they did and that they completely understood exactly what we wanted. (or, it could have been negligence).... more
After driving around Toledo, an AMAZING little city, we decided to cancel our reservation in Madrid for the last night in Spain, and stay in Toledo. Found the Eugenia by chance and they had a room for 170 euros. I just read the prior reviews and had a VERY similar experience as the person who had bad service. The front... more
The Palacio Eugenia de Montijo is a delightful hotel. The staff at the front desk welcomed us with complete professionalism. We loved our room. It was very elegant and cheerful as was the entire hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location and while we frequently became lost on the winding medieval streets of Toledo, we always seemed to find... more
This was a comfortable, quiet, luxurious gem of a hotel. Room was smallish for a 5 star but very, very comfortable and well appointed. Bathrooms are marble and have every possible amenity. Don't expect gorgeous views or spacious grounds....this hotel was carved out of a group of very old buildings at the top of a medieval town. Location was tops,... more
My wife and I planned a two week driving holiday from Marbella back to London. We, having spent the night in Marbella, Granada, Cordoba we arrived in Toledo looking forward to another interesting city and a 5 star hotel. We chose the Palacio Eugenia Montijo Hotel in part after having read the almost unanimous positive reviews of the Palacio Eugenia... more
This hotel has the perfect location right in the Historic part of Toledo. The staff is fantastic and provided all the hospitality we could have asked for. In the afternoon, we wanted coffee served in the lobby. The front desk contacted a server to take care of us. The guest room and the public areas were immaculately clean and beautifully... more
We were put here by the people who invited us to Toledo because the parador is in the middle of being renovated. We didn't know what to expect but we were really happy with the hotel and the location. It has only just opened and, being a small Spanish hotel, does not have things like a fitness or business center... more
This charming hotel is an amazing find. Located conveniently near the cathedral, the hotel was extremely comfortable and showed all of the attributes of a five star hotel, which it is. The lobby is elegant, the staff very helpful and the room warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Toledo. This hidden gem was... more

The staff were extremely helpful and professional , particularly Dario ( our Antonio Banderras lookalike ) , who was happy to direct us to restaurants and other points of interest very... more
