The hotel was OK,, not good and not bad. It seems that there was a lot of difference between the rooms because we were staying here as a group and some people had jacuzzi's, whereas others only had a simple shower. The district was not so fine. In the daytime the whole area is an illegal vending area, so all... more

We spent 2 nights here before travelling on to Capri. We chose it because of the location and this was great for us to access the trains to Pompeii and Herculaneum and also just a short trip away from the ferry terminal to Capri. The hotel was clean and in a good state of decor. We had expected the area... more

This hotel was great. We read the reviews on TripAdvisor after we had booked a package deal and were terrified that our holiday would be ruined. However, upon arrival we were greeted by friendly, English-speaking staff who were very capable and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed and we had a lovely stay. We experienced none of the... more

Two couples stayed here on Saturday, September 29, 2007 before our flight back to USA. The hotel is high-tech and newly renovated, BUT there was no hot water both days and the air-conditioning was not working. There were three other couples complaining - but the staff appeared to not understand. It seems from the other couples that there hadn't been... more

We booked one night at this hotel at the end of a month long trip to the Amalfi Coast. The location was chosen for its proximity to the airport and based on some good reviews here. STAY AWAY from this place! Not only did they not honour our reservation, the front desk manager was ignorant and rude. His solution that... more

We had 2 separate stays booked at this Hotel. When we got in the first night after a long trip there, we were told there was "a problem" and they had overbooked and were sending us to another hotel, Hotel Palace, owned by the same company. We protested, but they insisted and we were at their mercy. The hotel they... more

Firstly, the Piazza Garibaldi area of Naples is not a very nice area to stay, unfortunately. Apart from looking pretty nasty (especially at night), it's not particularly close to any of the nicer parts of the city (but is, admittedly, VERY close to the public transport hub). That said, if you really want to stay in this area, you could... more

This hotel surpassed our expectations. It is conveniently located beside the train, bus and metro in busy Piazza Garibaldi. Rooms are soundproofed so you hear none of the street noise. The reception desk is manned 24/7. We had a very early check in at 7 a.m ariving on the ferry from Sicilia, this was not a problem. Staff are young,... more

Stayed at the Sant Angelo" for 3 nights last month--March.It was a Fri-Sat- Sun.I booked it at the Train Station --which is less than 100metres away--when I arrived in Naples. The price for the 3 nights--just one person--was 207 Euros total. Ifound that surprisingly cheap. They put me in a twin room with a very nice bathroom. The check-in was fine---the... more

We arrived on the train from Genoa late in the evening. Decided to find a hotel near Piazza Garibaldi, and checked several out. Finally went for the Sant'Angelo, and found the room comfortable, The lobby is tastefully furnished, and the breakfast delicious. Pasquale the manager, was very helpful with our considerable luggage, and held on to it, while we travelled... more
