We stayed at the Inn in April 2008. For us this was an excellent choice; all the commodities of a five star hotel and yet small and charming. We really felt like we experienced the true Rome. For those interested in history and art, you couldn't find a better accommodation as you have Roman history within the hotel walls. The... more

I always travel hopeful of a hotel in which - regardless of rating or price - commitment, pride, friendliness and quality are palpable; finding such establishements is always a delight. I had expectations of the Inn at the Roman Forum, neslting in the ancient streets and featuring in the Small Luxury Hotel guide. But I was to be disappointed; starting... more

I was happy with all aspects of this hotel. The staff was very very friendly. Our room was beautiful, nice sheets, very Italian chic design. The breakfast on the roof was plentiful and served in the shade and outside. It was a total cure for jet lag. It is centrally located, walking distance from everything a tourist would like to... more

Like all the previous reviewers the location is wonderful, the amenities are top notch and the staff is excellent. The Inn is located on a very small alley/street easily missed. We were fortunate enough to have GPS to guide us in. To me the mark of a good hotel is the ability of the management staff to make decisions based... more

My husband was working nights over Christmas so as a treat we went out to Rome on New Years' Day and stayed at this wonderful hotel. It is situated 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum and 3 minutes from the Forum and is within walking distance of all of Rome's major attractions. However, it is quietly situated - we had... more

I adored this little gem of a hotel! It's more of a boutique B&B located on a very quiet side street just steps away from the Roman Forum and the Colliseum. I was in Rome for business and was very pleased with the amenities - the desk in the junior suite wasn't large but certainly met my needs. The neighborhood... more

My wife and I try to find small, high-style, luxurious, well-located “boutique” hotels with high levels of personalized service. The Inn at the Roman Forum succeeds on all accounts. Small without the excuses: Sometimes small hotels skimp on modern conveniences or just can’t provide quality “infrastructure”, but that was not the case here. We had strong water pressure with a... more

we spend 5 nights of our honeymoon in Rome in this little precious hotel upon arrival we were upgraded to the 402 room on the top floor with the private garden. Very nicely decorated -even if we had stayed in larger rooms- beams on the ceiling and direct access to the little beautiful garden with the orange tree (if only... more

Booked a superior room in The Inn At the Roman Forum for three nights and on arrival was advised that someone had taken ill and needed our room for a little longer and would we like to move to the View at the Spanish Steps (see other review) where we would be put up in the penthouse and for our... more

Stayed for a weekend in Rome. Got a room upgrade upon arrival, to the room with the oversized light hanging over the bed (wich itself is very large). A decent sized room (for Rome standards), great jacuzzi bath with Etro bath products supplied. No view from the room. Enjoy breakfast out on the roof terrace, looking across the rooftops of... more
