Despite all the other reviews we read, this hotel was quite good. It's a great base, as the square is only one minute walk away. The people are extremely friendly and willing to help. The hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there, and we got one of the freshly done rooms. Small, but no smaller than most European three-star hotels, with a better-than-usual bathroom. Great position as this hotel is a stones throw from St Marks square. Hotel is very basic with the tiniest room I have ever been in. Beautiful small hotel tucked right behind San Marco Square. Very friendly and accomodating staff, very clean room with roomy marble bathroom having the latest facilities. We expected a cramped inconvenient accomodation as we are a family of 4 with two teenagers, but ended up with a suite with a sleeper sofa and a kitchenette.
