During the last century, this house belonged to Angelo Scattolin who was a famous Venetian architect. In his house he put together classic venetian styles which already outlined the characteristics of modern architecture: respect for traditions joined to simple aspects and rationality of layout. His heirs try to continue this tradition in the layout of the house but at the same time combining it with a service which meets the needs of today's guests. more » « less

We spent 3 nights at the end of June 08 at Ca' Angeli and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a junior suite overlooking the courtyard at the back which was very quiet and comfortable. The staff were all charming and very helpful, the location is great, the breakfasts were excellent (fresh squeezed orange juice, different cold meats and cheeses... more

Stayed here for two nights at the start of June. It's a lovely place to stay. The only view of the canal might be from the windows in the large lounge area- but that view took my breath away when I first looked out. Breakfast was fine , but I think some of the earlier reviews overpraise it. It was... more

We stayed in the hotel's suite on the top floor during a month-long trip to Italy and Eastern Europe. The suite was clean, adorable, and featured a private balcony that was lovely for entertaining in the evenings. The breakfast was delightful. The staff was delightful. They suggeted we borrow an English tour book one day to maximize our experience and... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in three cities in Italy over the period of 2 weeks and Ca Angeli was by far our best stay. It was romantic, the room was amazing, the staff was great and very helpful, and the breakfast was perfect. This place is fully worth it! I've been to Venice 4 times now, and this is... more

My wife and I just returned from Venice and loved this quaint hotel. We enjoyed our three night stay very much. The location was excellent and in a quiet area not far from the Rialto Bridge. We loved the breakfast with its fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, various pastries, breads, cereals, meats, jams, etc. The room was what I... more

Bit of a mixture, this one. Beautiful building on Grand canal with great view from lounge and our suite, but no views from other rooms. Our party of 3 couples had us in the suite, and 2 double superior rooms. The 2 doubles were of such a quite different standard that our friends actually questioned that they had a superior... more

Dear Guest, first of all thank you for your review. The first point to which we are reflecting is your criticism about the bathroom cleanliness. Our sincere apologizes for the inconvenience but, our question is: Why you didn’t point out the problem to the reception? Especially the day after the check in when, as you wrote, the “dirt” was still...

We loved staying in this B and B. It was 15 minutes walk to St Marks square, and under 10 minutes from the Rialto bridge. Wear good shoes for Venice as there is a lot of walking, but it is all walkable unless you want to take the Vaporetto (riverbus). The staff at the B&B were very helpful and friendly... more

LOVED this B&B! It was a perfect experience and the best location. The owner is so friendly and very sincere. He made sure that we always knew where we were going and gave us wonderful suggestions for sightseeing and getting around. The breakfast was amazing. There was a large selection and the pastries were very good. Everyone that worked at... more

We (three) arrived at Ca'Angeli for a three night stay in Venice. Take the San Silvestro stop and it's just a 5 minute walk. The hotel desk is staffed 24 hr with a security gate and camera and we felt very safe walking to and from the hotel. We were assigned room 3 which had two large beds (twins pushed... more
