There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. Its in a fantastic location, great service, beautiful rooms and good breakfast. When booking we found most hotels were expensive in the middle of Venice so while this is slightly pricey its not too bad in the grand scheme of things and definitely worth every penny. We stayed in this hotel for five nights of our honeymoon, after leaving Rome. We had a Junior Suite which was extremely impressive to say the least. It was a spacious, relaxing, and comfortable room, which was decorated with great thought. A La Commedia is in the most amazing location (2 minutes to Rialto Bridge and 5 mins from St Marks Square). There are a selecting of restaurants close by and designer shops next door! Booked holiday via independent company called classicitalia.com. Very helpful and provided holiday much cheaper than via Expedia, etc. Hotel was excellent - recently refurbished and it showed. Room facilities were excellent, clean and to a very high standard. there 3 nights from feb.17 2008. great location ,one block from RIALTO bridge and water boat stop-7-10 minute walk to san marco square. shopping and all types of restaurants within 1-2 blocks of hotel. great english speaking staff very very clean rooms with great service. perfect experience for our trip. more

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location, about a 1 to 10 minutes walk from most of Venice's activities. Nice comfortable rooms, large marble bathrooms but the plus is the staff, in one word fantastic! more

We have just returned from a fantastic stay in Venice, and found this to be a fantastic, friendly, well located hotel. The convenience of being such a short walk from the main attractions is amazing. the front desk staff is incredible they always try to help(with gondolas, tours and restaurants). very nice experience, i can`t wait to go back! more
