We stayed here for four nights and found it to be a very nice hotel, the staff were friendly and the location couldn't be better. The local restraunts were very good and not too expensive. Only one bad experience in Catania was that whilst at the Lido (beach) we got our hire-car broken into and the locks busted off each... more

We really enjoyed our stay at Il Principe in Catania. The staff are really helpful and friendly which makes a nice change in Catania as we did not always find this to be the case from the locals ! the hotel is in a perfect location and the staff were very helpful. my friend lost her luggage and everyone that came on duty at the front desk during those 2 days called the airline repeatedly to check on the bag. we found an excellent little restaurant right around the corner, Osteria Antica Marina, that the concierge recommended. very nice... more

In the heart of it all and tucked away at the same time. A very special hotel with lovely and very enthusiatic staff. The decor is hansome and it is kept clean and beautiful.
