The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Florence on foot, close to excellent restaurants, the historic sites, and shopping. Our triple room was comfortable, with a surprisingly large bathroom, and the shuttered windows opened onto a picturesque, if tiny, square. We have stayed at the Hotel Alessandra twice over the years. The most recent was this past March. This is a nice, family owned hotel. And when you stay there, you feel part of the family as well.
