The Hotel Waldstaetterhof was a nice hotel, and a good value for the money. I was traveling alone on this trip, and felt completely comfortable. The Waldstatterhof is a picturesque old building that has recently been internally refurbished . I needed convenience in Luzern and this place satisfied. I was only in town overnight. It was a simple walk from the train station. If you walk on the bottom floor of the station, head west up the escalators you avoid crossing the street and traffic and leads you directly on Zentralstrasse just 2 blocks down. Great location near train station. Only stayed 1 night. Room was nicely decorated, and had a large bathroom with very long bath. Hard to sleep as corridor and rooms next door full of noisy Spanish young women. Seems to accommodate lots of tour groups.
