Stayed here from 9th thru 11th May. As always excellent service and I love the Marriott beds - hard to get out of in the morning. Great location Great service Great if you are like me and want comfort and no one bothering you during the stay. Maybe not so great if you like old world architecture and local feel... more

I stayed her on a business trip which came up at the last moment. I had not been to Amsterdm before so I could not judge what other hotels were in the area, and I picked this one as it was where my meeting was to be held. As a hotel it's fine and the room was worth about say... more

Stayed for 5 days with my husband and 9yo daughters. rooms are comfy though not spacious and pretty expensive. no free in room refreshments. location convenient. take care with their packages. we had a package where children eat free with adults. was given no info on booking in. asked at reception who told me to ask in the restaurant. asked... more

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for over a week. I have stayed at many hotels throughout Amsterdam, and this is one of the better options. The location is decent, very close to Leidsplein (a nice shopping/restaurant area) and easily accessible via several trams that lead to Centraal station. The staff was very nice and accommodating.... more

I stayed at this Marriott for two nights during a layover between Washington and Delhi with my husband. I have Platinum status with Marriott, so I didn't consider staying anywhere else. I would agree with all of the comments about the outstanding service at this hotel. The concierge helped us out several times by providing great recommendations and perfect directions... more

I made a reservation in January (for a March 08 stay) and paid in full via a credit card. Upon checking out of the hotel, the Marriott attempted to charge me an additional 60 Euros ($90) claiming that I had not been charged in full. I showed the asst manager the email I had received showing full payment, as proof.... more

I am not inclined to rave, as my many Trip Advisor reviews will demonstrate. But this hotel was extraordinary and is therefore my first 'five star' rating. Easy stuff to start: The rooms are very large by European standards. I expected a room too small to leave my suitcase open in, and was completely (but happily) mistaken. Very large, comfortable... more

After spending 7 days in Italy where we stayed at somewhat average hotels, arriving at the Marriott in Amsterdam felt incredible. I guess we Americans are somewhat spoiled in terms of what we expect a hotel room to be like and the Marriott lived up and exceeded all of those expectations. The rooms were very clean and completely updated with... more

I came to Europe to visit friends in Brussels, Belgium. We planned to take a weekend trip to Amsterdam so I booked our room on the Marriott website on February 8. We paid $176.97 Euro for the room which equated to $275.59 USD. While this is rather expensive, I wanted to stay at a US brand hotel chain and this... more

We had a weekend break at the Marriott recently, and found the great atmosphere and lovely staff a refreshing experience.....one of our party needed medical supplies to be forwarded to his room prior to his arrival . This was seen to without difficulty.......... Rooms were spotless, and checked on when guests were away and so were not disturbed.........Hope we are... more
