Seven Bridges Hotel is a 300 year old charming canal house at the beautiful confluence of two canals in the historic heart of Amsterdam. Character and atmosphere are created by individually decorated stylish rooms: precious antiques from Baroque, Louis XVI, Empire, Biedermeier to Art Deco, from Sotheby's and Christie's; oriental carpets on wooden floors; handcrafted marquetry furniture - mirrors, tables, beds by a Dutch artisan. Welcome to charm, sophistication and a beautiful ambience inside and outside. The hotel now has AIR CONDITIONING - in all but the "cool" rooms 3 and A. more » « less

A friend and I stayed in room 8 at The Seven Bridges Hotel from June 6th - June 10th. We did not arrive until June 7th due to issues with Ryan Air (AVOID AT ALL COSTS!), but Gunter held our room and welcomed us into the hotel on Saturday morning. As indicated in previous reviews the staircase is almost vertical... more

Very nice hotel, which is staying in a silent place near to the center. The picture from a window - the river. The breakfast in continental style is very pleasant that bring it directly in number. The personnel holds hotel in cleanliness. Inside the room a lot of old-style furniture. I advise. more

I have been to Amsterdam many times, but for this trip I wanted something really special and happenstance led me to this site and the Seven Bridges! I have never been happier with a European hotel. Everything about it was great, including the location, the hotel and of course, the service. My girlfriend fell in love with the place as... more

Stayed at the Seven Bridges on recent trip to Amsterdam. It was a memorable and wonderful experience. The rooms were lovely; nice breakfast; great location - near many of the top sites and yet quietly tucked away on a not so well trodden canal street. Service was outstanding and made us feel that we were truly home. Very difficult to... more

If you want to live like a local in a canalside "house" in Amsterdam then this is the place to stay. Wonderful location on Reguliersgracht, close to Rembrandt Plein, walking distance to all Amsterdam attractions. Our room was very big, en-suite bathroom, outside patio, furnished with wonderful antiques. Ample breakfast delivered to the room in the mornings. Manager/Owner was very... more

my wife & i stayed in room #4, adult kids stayed in #8 for 5 nights each...room #4 is ground floor, for those who would rather not climb steep steps...the rooms were as advertised, in beautiful antiques...this was the cleanest, quietest b&b we have ever stayed in, & we've been to a lot...besides the owners being terrific, the location cannot... more

We booked this hotel on the strength of a review in the Daily Telegraph which gave it high praise, and we weren't disappointed: I phoned the hotel direct and spoke to the charming and helpful Gunter, and although it was at fairly short notice, he was able to offer us a room for a reasonable price. Although this room is... more

The hotel has many things going for it that made our stay there unique and special. First was location, the hotel is located on the canals just out of the main tourist area. In 5-10 minutes you can WALK to the tulip markets and many other of the main tourist attractions (even faster if you take the trams), but the... more

If you are looking for accommodations in Amsterdam, look no further. Seven Bridges is comfortable, safe, quiet and serves a lovely breakfast. My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights and were just delighted with the room. We stayed in room 8 and it was perfect for our needs. This is a wonderful, little hotel - just the kind of place we love to find when we travel. It is intimate, spotless, well-designed and in a great location. We stayed in Room 6 which is decorated in antiques with contemporary touches. It has a lovely view of the Canal and homes across the street. The breakfasts are fantastic. Breads,... more
