I stayed at this hotel as part of a large travel group and was exceptionally disappointed at the way we were catered for. The location of the hotel is good but the rooms are tired and dirty with empty alcohol bottles being found in some rooms upon arrival. Rooms were not cleaned properly and towels and bedding provided were also... more

I stayed in this hotel as part of an international group; booking by Belgian colleagues. Originally the whole group was to stay at Tourist hotel but shortly before the event, the hotel advised that they could not take the whole party. The hotel room was reasonably clean although some people mentioned problems. The staff were polite and friendly, especially the... more

What a dive ! How much per night ? Very briefly; Room door obviously booted in so many times I wondered if I was safe ? The door & frame just patched up , not very well either. The room was tiny, the bed was on the verge of collapse, the bedding was scruffy & reminded me of a Bedouin's... more

This hotel was booked for me, travelling on a small study tour. My first impression was good - the front desk area, lift and stairs looked quite smart. However, the room was not good. I was particularly concerned about the electrical socket (and I wasn't the only one) - there was a gaping hole in the wall and I worried... more

We stayed at this hotel for 8 days which was booked through a conference. If we had realized that we had not pre-paid we would have been out after the first night. The room was adequate although there was no place to hang the showerhead; I took baths in the deep old-fashioned tub each day. The free breakfast was fairly... more

All areas of hotel are poorly lit. Window is small and opens onto brick wall across. Carpet was old and worn. Bedspread and sheets were torn. Nowhere to attach shower head on wall. No power outlets except above mirror in bathroom. Noisy, dank hotel. Did not feel completely safe as woman travelling alone. Not all channels advertised as being available... more

We chose this hotel as it is right outside the train station and the booked price could not be beat. However, the look of the hotel is rather shabby. The room looked worn and the hall was rather dingy. The breakfast was OK. Simply put, it didn't lend you a feeling that you wanted to come back to this hotel.... more

Firstly, the hotel was overbooked and our friends was given the "standard" room - which is a double with no television or bathroom. The management staff insisted that they were doing us a favor by offering us a room despite the fact that we have paid in advance for the room. We were very disappointed with our room. Room was... more

We were given a double room in front of the train station. It was quite old, small and noisy but we didn't pay very much. Consequently if you want a place to sleep with bathroom in you room and you want to be in the centre of the city it's a good choice. more

The Antwerp Tourist Hotel has a superb location, in the middle of the centre of Antwerp, next to the central train station. The rooms are basic but clean and the breakfast is good. But the hospitality at the reception desk is more the above average ! The standard in this hotel should be standard in every hotel .. as said... more
