Do not be put off by other reviews about this hotel - we have just returned from a short stay for New Year's Eve and would happily recommend the hotel to others. We found the Karos easily by car and there was ample parking. We were welcomed with a glass of cold juice which was nice after travelling from the UK. The lady at reception was friendly and gave us all the information we wanted including a city map. Our room was enormous! It was clean and comfy with a nice bathroom... more

We stayed 2 nights. Clean sheets, okay breakfast and the rest of the room and hotel needed a good cleaning. We have stayed at the Karos before several times in the last few years, in fact we are going back again this December just before Christmas for a few days. My husband & I and 2 friends stayed here in August 2007. We had enormous rooms, with comfy beds and it was all very clean. We loved all the dolls and mannequins etc it has far more character than the usual modern hotels. Breakfast was plentiful and nice. The Hotel Karos was generally good...Arrived Brugges 15th July 2007. 4 nights stay...
