stayed in the junior suite for my honeymoon, brilliant room with spiral staircase leading up to a 4 poster bed for us and downstairs a pull out sofa bed for our child. the room is away from the hotel and very quiet and private, cab costs about 10 euros from station, its walkable but easier by car. the hotel has... more

Had the great pleasure of spending two nights here - wish it had been 20! A real gem of a find, and worth every penny. Lovely classical frontage, well furnished and decorated to a high standard. Beautiful bedroom (233), 2nd floor, overlooking the canal, quiet central spot - despite tourists walking along this popular location. Fabulous large bed with linen... more

Went here for a night on my two-year anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. The room we were given was immaculate and beautifully designed. The location was excellent and the staff were polite, if a little stiff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. One thing I would say is, upon arrival, ask... more

Overall: This is a four star, small hotel (45 rooms) and quite a wonderful place to stay. Location: Nice location in the old city. Once you are here, everything in the old town is accessible on foot (take a map). The issue we had was initially finding the place. We came in at night and construction in the one way... more

I think we were lucky and got upgraded to the suite as this room was amazing, 4 poster bed, floor boards, big bathroom, view of the river, champagne on arrival just perfect. This hotel has won all the awards, the Expedia Inside Select Award, I think it is a Tripadvisory winner too... I can see why, it has lovely staff,... more

After a great journey travelling Leisure Select from St Pancras to Brussels and on to Bruges, our group of six checked into this lovely hotel close to the centre of the city. We stayed for three nights and each of us had nothing but praise for the De Tuilerieen and its excellent, friendly staff. The rooms were all beautifully fitted... more

We stayed at 5 very nice hotels throughout our recent European honeymoon, but the Tuilerieen was our absolute favorite. Upon arrival we were pleased to be upgraded to an executive suite, which was spacious, elegantly appointed, and had one of the most comfortable beds we've ever had the pleasure to sleep in. The hotel was lovely and luxurious from the... more

I visited Brugge in the off-season with a friend and got a great rate at this hotel. The location is fantastic and the hotel is immaculately maintained. We were upgraded to a superior deluxe room, which was up a very narrow set of stairs, but it was well worth it when we finally hauled all our luggage up. The king... more

Not at all a luxury room! I have booked a special tariff that was also offered in other reservation websites. I checked the photos in several websites, including the hotel's website and the rooms I got were totally different from what I supposed I had bought. They were in the upper floor - mezzanine or attic- and I had to... more

This hotel is excellently located. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room although one of the few without a back or front window, was very private and pleasant. It was spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. The breakfast was excellent - champagne, strawberries, smoked salmon and plenty more besides. Even a chocolate fountain if you can take that sort... more
