After checking into a different hotel with reservations made through a service in Rota, Spain, staying one miserable night, we were very much dissatisfied. We strolled around the corner and discovered the Rio Mar - not 100 ft. away. We were fortunate in obtaining an end unit on the third floor. The room was much better than we had expected.... more

This hotel has a charming 70's look. It's clean, close to the restaurants and bars, but not noisy. Not far from the beaches. more

The riomar is located in the city walls so if you are arriving by car plan you route carefully as parking and driving can be a problem. The staff was helpful in getting us one of the 5 hotel parking spots, we then didn't move the car until we left as finding a spot anywhere near the hotel would have... more
