Welcome to "Casa Leone" Hotel in the heart of the Venetian port of Hania. The entrance to the hotel is from number 18 Theotokopoulou the first side street you meet. The building, erected 600 years ago, has been restored in order to regain its original Venetian look with impressive results. The romantic atmosphere which prevails everywhere transports you far back in time. The Casa Leone Hotel is available the whole year. Even after extended research, I found that in actuality, this hotel was far better than I had expected expected. I travel frequently on business but never have I ever been so pleasantly surpised by such a lovely place. Each staff member of this little gem are so genuinely kind and professional. I felt instantly welcomed and well cared for. Internet... more

If you are visiting Greece you must go to Crete, if you are going to Crete you must try and stay at Casa Leone. My partner and I stayed there for 2 nights at the end of a week touring Crete and it was truly the highlight of the trip. Choosing this hotel was a bit of a splurge for... more

We spent a week staying at the Casa Leone and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The room itself was charming and the service was superb. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, and the service was always friendly, especially Antonia who went out of her way to make our holiday special. Everything about the hotel from the location in the... more

Casa Leone is a wonderful boutique hotel overlooking the historic Venetian Harbor in Chania. The hotel is located in the upper floors of a retored Venetian residence. The restoration preserved the historic facacde and features of this structure but produced a thoroughly modern and comfortable interior. Many of the rooms have balconies overlooking the harbor, as does the day-room, reception... more

We arrived late at night and were absolutely enchanted by the style of the hotel. The Venetian elegance together with the breath taking view of the harbour, transport you to another era. The position is in the old city which means that you are amongst the shops and restaurants. It is also within walking distance of a number of museums.... more

Wow! We spent the last week of June in the Oval Room at Casa Leone and it was as wonderful as everyone says. The hotel is a beautiful villa from the Venetian era, lovingly restored and decorated. The view from our balcony overlooking the beautiful Chania harbour was spectacular – the perfect spot for that pre-dinner glass of wine. Antonia... more

I'll be the first to admit I'm overly picky about my hotels. I research the heck out them before I decide to book a room. So, finding accommodations for my belated honeymoon was no exception. After reading the heaps of praise for Casa Leone (thank you, TripAdvisor), I decided this hotel would be our home base for the five days... more

My wife and I stayed for 5 days in mid June. All previous accolades should be believed. This is a beautiful villa in central harbour area. Some rooms have harbour views and the others over internal courtyard. The only possible downside of the harbour facing options is it can stay quite noisy until early hours with bars outside - but... more
