I have stayed at the Nafsika several times over the years but havent been back to San Stefanos since 1991. However, my parents still visit every other year and absolutely love both the resort and the Nafsika. I couldnt stay at the Nafsika this time as Spiros was fully booked, but did go there 3-4 times during our stay for... more

Third year for my wife and I to holiday at the Nafsica and once again a fantastic experience. The food is to die for and is all genuinely home-cooked. Yes the hotel is in need of a makeover but I for one hope it never gets one. It's like a time capsule of good old fashioned cleanliness and hospitality. It's... more

Well whay can I say , no 1 no way, more like 51. We did have an enjoyable holiday thanks to the staff, Arris at breakfast who told you what you could have like it was a secret, toast, cake, tea or coffee. (I'll tell you only once) Vangelis in the evening with his loverly way of speaking english, why... more

We came to Corfu in 1980 - our first trip abroad with our then 2 young children. We stayed in Messonghi and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This year with our friends we thought we would return to Corfu and decided with the reviews of Trip adviser to stay at the Nafsika Hotel - San Stefanos. We felt that going half board... more

I generally take 5 - 6 trips each year, always referring to Tripadvisor when choosing hotels, and so far all reviews/ratings have been fair. However, on this occasion I cannot understand or believe that this hotel is rated No.1. It is a run down, basic establishment - think cross between Bates Motel and Faulty Towers. I was led to believe... more

The Nafsika represents excellent value for money and although I personally wouldn't return (prefer to try things new), I can see why most of the guests had been several times and intended to return again and again - it's such an easy, no-brainer holiday. The evening meal is of a high quality but popular dishes tended to have run out... more

Just back from a brilliant week in San Stefanos where we stayed at the Nafsika hotel for the 3rd time This small family run hotel run by Speros and his father George celebrated its 30th anniversary this year and is typically Greek while the rooms are fairly basic, they are kept spotlessly clean and have been upgraded over the years... more

We tried to book Nafsika Hotel direct but unfortunatly the owner Speros had no rooms available and said we might be able to book through Thomsons this we did and booked 10 days We booked our flights ourselves with Easy Jet and saved considerably on costs. I then contacted Speros the Nafsika's owner who arranged taxi transfers from the airport... more

It's the hotel restaurant's 30th year and the care they take on their food is second to none. I have travelled to many Greek islands and I love Greek food and this restaurant is the best for home cooked food. It's all done by Theodora which is the owners, Spiros, mother so you know you are getting a real homecooked... more
